Gevrey Chambertin
Gevrey-Chambertin is a wine with a beautiful and bright ruby color. Intensely fruity on the nose, its aromas are reminiscent of black cherry, wild blackberry, and licorice. The woody character is subtle and integrates delicately with the other aromas. As the wine evolves, more complex notes appear, such as mild spices, nutmeg, and leather.
Subsequently, nuances of mushrooms and damp earth appear. Although present in the mouth, the tannin is never astringent, but rather blends harmoniously with the natural freshness and velvety texture of the wine. The same aromas that were initially perceived on the nose are repeated in the aftertaste.
