Wines from Spain

Tomás Postigo

The Tomás Postigo winery is a family business in which the father, Tomás, currently works with his four children in a completely artisanal way. Tomás Postigo began his career in Ribera del Duero at Bodegas Protos in 1984. He worked there as a winemaker for 4 years, until 1988, when he launched the Pago de Carraovejas winery with other partners.

Tomás was the heart of the project, as he was not only a shareholder like the other partners, but he was also the technical director and winemaker of the winery, the person responsible for the wines and the winery. He remained at Pago de Carraovejas for 20 years, until 2008, when he decided to leave this winery and start a new one that would bear his own name, Tomás Postigo. Since then, it has been growing little by little until it has become one of the benchmark wineries in the Ribera de Duero. Tomás has almost 40 years of experience as a winemaker, and is currently one of the most experienced in the area, and one of those who knows the Ribera del Duero best.
