Clos de Mouches Blanc Beaune Premier Cru
An exceptional wine. Pale yellow in color. Complex floral aroma of white lilacs and white roses. As it opens, fruity aromas predominate, evolving towards toasted hazelnut and almond. With greater maturity, the aroma is surprisingly powerful and, after fifteen minutes of aeration, wonderful notes of white truffle, citron (cedrat), honey and nutmeg are perceived, elegantly combined. Very lively on the palate. Its rich texture is evident, but also its structure and minerality. It is round, but never heavy. In the aftertaste, it has a harmonious fullness.
This wine exceptionally combines the complexity and elegance of a Bâtard-Montrachet with the power of a Corton-Charlemagne.
